How To Become A Man Of Action Step 1

Have you ever wished to become a man of action?

Why? Is it out of regret? Or longing for a fuller life? Or is it motivated by fear of missing out on life?

These are all critical questions to ask before you start seeking the motivation to be a man who is known to get things done.

Man of action jumping.

In regards to regret, have you ever felt it?

I know I have, and I have also heard many a man verbally declare that which he wished he had done.

What is the cause of this disappointment most of the time? A lack of action in my opinion or in some cases allowing fear to be the demotivator. These are universal realities and experiences many men are confronted with on a continual basis.

So, let us define what a man of action looks like before we dive into some top-notch skills that will take you to new heights as a man.

How I would define a man of action is this, "A man who can see clearly that which he wants. From this vision, he is motivated to push through the discomfort that faces him all to attain his goal."

So not that we have established a point of reference to begin from I wanted to jump right into the first step of this series on "How to become a man of action." I hope you enjoy.

+ Men of action realize the cost of inaction. +

Some of the most motivated individuals I know have the ability to find the needed motivation to push through painful tasks and discipline all because they have developed the ability to see the long-term effects of if they chose not to take action.

Man of action jumping in the wilderness.

For example, the business owner sees that if he does not work on his sales pipeline down the road, he will not have the business needed to keep everything operating correctly and growing towards success.

Or, take the bodybuilder into consideration, when he is faced with if he does or does not want to go to the gym, he is sober to the reality that if he continues to avoid the gym, he will never reach the strengths and image that he desires.

So how do you calculate what the cost of you not taking action is? I have made a simple PDF guide to help you go through the process of figuring out what it would cost you if you did nothing.

In order to get the free PDF fill out the form below and you will have access to it immediately.

After you have completed it and realized that if you do nothing, this will lead to an undesirable place take some time to write out a basic, realistic plan to get things moving in the right direction.

It could be as simple as asking for help, doing one small thing a day towards your new goal for two weeks.

The most significant thing is when you start to make plans to overcome what inaction is costing you make sure they are realistic and attainable.
